Colorful Flower Punchout Card Line Gemstone Mother’s Day Card

Step 1: I took a piece of white cardstock and cut to 4 ¼” x 11”.  I took my scoreboard and scored down the center and folded card in half to measure 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  I took a piece of black cardstock and cut a piece to 4 x 5 ¼”.  I took a piece of white cardstock and cut to 3 ¾” x 5”.
Step 2: I took the white piece I just cut and grabbed my cuttlebug.  I used a thinlit metal flower die (unknown brand) and determined where I wanted my flowers to be.  I used a pencil and marked where each flower was and cut out using the die and cuttlebug.
Step 3: I took several scrap pieces of cardstock (sun yellow, true blue, candy pink, lime green) and cut a small square to go under each flower cutout on the white piece of paper.
Step 4: I took the black piece of cardstock and using double-sided adhesive tape added to the white cardstock card base.  I took the white cardstock and placed ontop of the card and determined where I needed to place each color square.  I adhered the color pieces to the black cardstock using double-sided adhesive tape.  I then took the white cardstock piece with flower the cutouts and adhered to the card using double-sided adhesive tape.
Step 5: I took a 02 black micro pigma pigment pen and a t-ruler and created the horizontal lines that go through each of the flower cutouts.
Step 6: I used Queen & co. rhinestones (pretty in pink, purple, yellow, mint green, and baby blue) and added to the lines.
Step 7: I took Stickles in black diamond and created a center for each flower.

Step 8: I printed out a poem with my printer and trimmed to fit the inside of the card and applied using double-sided adhesive tape.
 

Purple Flower Happy Mother’s Day Card

Step 1: I took a piece of purple cardstock and cut to 10” x 6 ½”.  I took my scoreboard and scored the center line so the card would be 5” x 6 ½”. I took a white piece of cardstock and cut it to 4 ½” x 6”.
Step 2: I took the white piece of cardstock I just cut and found the center and drew a very light pencil line.  The top half I took my hero arts floral filigree stencil and applied the design using a Versamark ink pad.  I covered the embossing ink with ranger puff embossing power in purple and set with a heat tool.
Step 3: I took some twine and cut enough to wrap around the card three times.  I colored the twine using Lindy’s starburst spray in tea pot purple. I took one white prima flower from the innocence 2 package and also colored it in Lindy’s starburst spray in tea pot purple.  I assisted the drying time by using a heat tool.
Step 4: For the bottom half of the white cardstock I stamped my saying.  I used Technique Tuesday say it happy stamps and used the mother’s day stamp and stamped it in Colorbox violet pigment ink and a stamping block.  The word happy I hand wrote using a Crazeart colored pencil in pretty plum.
Step 5: I took the white cardstock and wrapped the twine around three times and adhered on the backside using double-sided adhesive tape.  I glued the prima flower using quickdry glue. I adhered that white cardstock to the purple card base using double-sided adhesive tape.

Step 6: I printed out a poem with my printer and trimmed to fit the inside of the card and applied using double-sided adhesive tape.
 

Merry Christmas Cardinal Card

Step 1: I took red cardstock and measured 9” x 6” and cut.  I folded the card in half so it measures 4 ½” x 6”. I took some gray cardstock and wooden image cardstock.  I cut the gray cardstock to 4 ¼” x 3 ½”.  I cut the wooden image cardstock to 4 ¼” x 3 ½”. I adhered using tacky glue.
Step 2: I took a leaf branch stencil I have and stenciled the image onto the gray cardstock using forest moss Distress ink pad.
Step 3: I created the cardinal using the winter wonderland Cricut cartridge.  I distressed the edges of the cardinal using fired brick Distress ink pad. 
Step 4: I cut out the label for the Merry Christmas saying using the Sweetheart/Amoureaux Cricut Cartridge.  The saying is from Hampton Art/Janet Dunn 2010 Merry Christmas stamp set and was stamped using Staz-on jet black ink.

Step 5: the snow on the card was created using my homemade modeling paste.

Merry Christmas Ornament Die Cut Card

Step 1: I took beige cardstock and cut 9” x 6” and folded in half so the card measures 4 ½” x 6”.
Step 2: I took the polka dot cardstock from My Minds Eye Vintage Christmas Cardstock and cut to 4 ¼” x 5 ¾”. I took another piece of beige cardstock and cut that to 4” by 5”.  I took my inkadinkado mini snowflake stamps and stamped a background of snowflakes using Distress Ink Pad in faded jeans.
Step 3: I took some beige cardstock and my Spellbinders Nestabilities Oval Bliss Dies and using my cuttlebug cut out the oval.  I took a strip of the beige cardstock and using my Merry Christmas stamp from Tim Holtz Simple Sayings Word Stamp set I stamped the saying in Distress Ink peeled paint.
Step 4: I took some red florist wire and my embossing tool and poked a hole in the saying and tied the wire.  I adhered the wire to the back of the polka dot cardstock before adhereing down with tacky glue.
Step 5: I cutout the ornament using beige and brown cardstock and my gingerbread Cricut Cartridge.  I used the same snowflake stamps and faded jeans ink and stamped the images all over the beige ornament cutout.  I adhered using dimensional dots and used red florist wire to hang the ornament.

Step 6: I adhered cranberry stickles around the oval and to the snowflakes on the ornament.

Merry Christmas Button Ornament Card

Step 1: I took some beige cardstock and cut to 9’ x 6’.  I folded the card in half the long way.  I sprayed the cardstock with blazing sun glitz spritz by Lindy’s.
Step 2: I stamped the Merry Christmas saying in distress ink pad black soot.  The stamp is from Tim Holtz Stamper Anonymous Simple Sayings stamp set.

Step 3: I took some buttons in red and green and adhered using tacky glue.  I took my pigment pen in black and drew the strings for the ornaments.

Merry Christmas Heart Tree Card

Step 1: I took a piece of white cardstock and cut to 9” x 6” and folded in half to create a card that measures 4 ½” x 6”.
Step 2: I took green cardstock and cut out hearts using the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge.  I took the mowed lawn distress ink marker and added some dots on the hearts.  I used a pencil to determine the placement of the hearts to create the tree.  I adhered using tacky glue.  I added some silver queen and co. rhinestones, one red rhinestone and a red ribbon.

Step 3: The sentiment is from Tim Holtz simple sayings word stamps and I stamped the Merry Christmas saying in distress ink pad mowed lawn. The planter for the tree was drawn using mowed lawn distress marker.

Merry Christmas Ribbon Tree Card

Step 1: I took some white cardstock and measured 9” x 6” and folded in half so the card measures 4 ½” x 6”.  I took some brown cardstock and cut a piece to 4 ½” x 6”.
Step 2: I took the brown cardstock and stamped Merry Christmas with my Hampton art stamp and staz-on jet black ink.  I took white ribbon and adhered using adhesive tape.  I wrapped the back of the ribbon to the back of the brown cardstock.
Step 3: I took another piece of brown cardstock and free-handed the tree outline and cut out with an exacto knife.  You can also use your cricut/a punch or die cut.

Step 4: I added red queen and co rhinestones to the tree for ornaments.  The gold star was made using gold star stickers and I layered 6 together.  I also heat embossed the star with gold embossing powder.

Happy Birthday Candles Card

I created this card for my nephew Hunter's birthday.

·         Step 1: I took a piece of vanilla cardstock and cut with my paper trimmer to 6” x 9”.  I scored the card down the center so the card measures 6” x 4 ½”.
·         Step 2: I took a piece of pattern cardstock and cut to 5 ½” x 4”.
·         Step 3:  I took both the card base in vanilla and the pattern cardstock and cut out a circle in both pieces using my Darice Embossing Essentials Circle Die set and my Cuttlebug.
·         Step 4: I adhered the pattern cardstock onto the vanilla card base using a glue stick.
·         Step 5: I took a white ribbon and colored it using Lindy’s Flat Fabio spray in Caribbean Blue.  I tied the ribbon around the edge of the card. I added a piece of white twine cord to create the bow.
·         Step 6: Using a happy birthday stamp from Tim Holtz Simple Sayings stamp set, I stamped the saying in versamark and used Recollections Embossing Powder in Glacier.
·         Step 7: I cut some strips of white cardstock to create the candles and cut out the flame parts of the candles using the Celebrations cricut cartridge. 
·         Step 8:  I took the candles and used a dot background stamp and stamped each candle in versamark ink pad.  I used Ranger White Embossing Powder and covered the candles and embossed with my heat gun. 
·         Step 9: I colored each candle using a different colors distress stain by Tim Holtz.  The colors I used was Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, and Squeezed Lemonade.  I took the flames for each candle and used a glue stick and colored with yellow glitter.  I positioned the candles on the inside of the card so they can be aligned with the circle cutout.  I glued down using a glue stick.
·         Step 10: I stamped the sayings on the inside of the card using Distress ink pad in Broken China.  The stamps I used are from My Favorite Things birthday clear stamps.

·         Step 11:  I took some money and folded up and used a paperclip to attach the money to the card.  The money was used as the cake in the card and was placed over the candles.



Alcohol Ink Ceramic Tiles

Colored using alcohol inks and blending solution.

·         Tile 1: countryside set – shell pink, willow, cloudy blue
·         Tile 2: summit view – sunset yellow, sunset orange, purple twilight
·         Tile 3: cranberry, eggplant
·         Tile 4: conservatory set – honeycomb, botanical, poppyfield
·         Tile 5: cottage path set – meadow, slate, currant

·         Tile 6: cranberry, currant, botanical

Who Are My Friends Journal Page

1.       Spray the background with lindy’s sprays (caribean blue, danny zuko’s denim, whale watch blue, luscious lime, ponderosa pines olive, sea glass green)
2.       Stamp flowers using jet black staz-on ink pad. Stamp sets used are Inkadinkado beauty stems from here and Inkadinkado doodle flowers.
3.       Color the stamped flower and vine images with gel pens.
4.       I took some brown markers and created the branch and used my cricut to cutout the owl die-cut.
5.       I also cut out the word friends? With my cricut and applied to the journal page.

6.       I took black soot distress ink and blended the edges of the journal to create a dark look.
